What is EOTAS/ EOTIS?
Let's clear up the jargon
Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) is a legal option for children who cannot attend school, providing personalised learning at home or in the community. We specialise in making this journey simple, supportive, and successful for families and local authorities.
"Grab and Go" Resource First Packages
We recognise that is is not always appropriate to have a traditional tutor led provision. Sometimes you need to set up a provision where the learner has everything they need to get on with learning independently, with support from a distance, where they can still engage in recognised learning. This is where LCB Education can be perfect.
Everything we provide is designed so it can be accessed independently by the learner, facilitated by a tutor ro LSA of your choosing if appropriate, and they still have access to our specialist teaching/ exam team as and when they need it.
Examples of where a resource first package might work well is where the learner can't/ won't engage with a tutor, they may have a particular need like PDA or anxiety or have suffered educational trauma.
Purchase one term or one year
Any of our EOTAS Packages can be split down per term if you need it for a shorter period. There is no trickery with the pricing either. Just take the annual price and divide by 3.
Who is it for?
Our EOTAS packages are designed for families, carers, and local authorities supporting children who need education outside of a mainstream setting.
They can be personalised to the learner needs, and provide a combination of semi structured learning options (AQA certified and curriculum linked) as well as strategies to certify other things that the learner may be engaging in, in other areas of their learning (as part of their EHCP).
Full resources from project based kits (manufactured in house), to workbooks (written by our teachers), and recorded lessons can be added to packages from KS2- KS4.
Functional Skills Exams are available (remotely or in person) in English and Maths up to Level 2.
Simple, Transparent Pricing
The Local authority chooses a package and pays a set price. We will work directly with the family, tutor or case worker to tailor the package to their needs. One less child on your caseload, and you can move on safe in the knowledge that they will be looked after and nurtured by our lovely team.
