Who is it for?
At the lower end, Entry Level 1 is equivalent to literacy/ numeracy levels at age 5-7. Adults below Entry Level 1 may not be able to write short messages to family or read a road sign. Entry Level 2 is equivalent to literacy/ numeracy levels at age 7-9.
On the upper end, Functional Skills Level 2 is suitable for learners of all ages, they’re widely accepted in industry for qualifications needed in employment, often taken by adult learners and also an accepted part of all Apprenticeship standards for 16 -18 year olds in England.
