Who is it for?
AQA Unit Award scheme can be used by young people (age 4- 19) building a portfolio of work or adults learning for CPD/ upskilling in an area for development in their professional lives. The scheme is often used for interest based learning, and also increasingly being used to professionally accredit courses and learning programs offered by corporate organisations.
LCB Education provides certification at Pre Entry level, Entry levels 1, 2, 3, and Functional Skills levels 1 and 2.
The scheme works in a stand alone fashion, and does not count towards any other qualifications, or UCAS points for further education. Functional Skills exams are official exams and regulated by TQUK.

How does registration work?
Sign up online and receive your welcome pack within 3 working days. Use the unit list to start completing units as soon as you are ready.
Are the resources suitable for SEND or EOTAS?
Absolutely—our packages are designed for all abilities and learning needs.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Pick any unit from the unit list and have a go at completing outcomes. See how it feels. If you like the format, you will know it is going to work well for you down the line.
What’s the commitment?
No long-term contracts. Pay Monthly, Termly (every 4 months) or yearly. Submit your units (for marking) to us before the end of the academic year. Cancel whenever you like.
When do I need to hand work in by?
The 30th July, at the end of the academic year you started in. There is an extended deadline of 15th August after this, but you will not receive feedback or an opportunity to re-submit work if it does not pass first time after 30th July.
